3D Golf Labs is owned and operated by Dan Parks, a PGA Golf Professional who has been teaching golf in the Rochester area for over twenty years. He has extensive teaching experience with all levels of golfers.

For the past two years he has been one of only 125 in the world’s golf industry invited to the annual “Better Golf Through Technology Conference” at the Center For Sports Innovation at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

This past February he was a featured presenter at the Third Annual Better Golf Through Technology Conference at MIT. He presented findings and case studies from his research on lower body mechanics in the golf swing.

Dan is also one of only a few golf professionals in the world with advanced golf fitness certification from the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI). He is also certified in Biomechanics through Zerolink, one of the world’s leading providers of 3D biomechanics research and software for the golf and sports industries. Dan has also studied biomechanics with the highly regarded kinesiologist, Ben Shear, and Dr. Robert Neal, the pioneer of 3D golf research. Dan was also one of the first golf professionals to research and apply the use of sound and auditory biofeedback in golf instruction, specifically with blind and visually impaired golfers. He has been using sensor technology in his instruction since 1988. He is a certified club repair technician through the Mitchell Golf Institute and has been a member of the PGA since 1994. During his golf career, he has taught over 10,000 golfers, including several top junior amateurs. In 1995 he organized and participated in the Rochester Golf Summit, featuring David Leadbetter, Jim McLean, Rick Smith, Peter Kostis, Gary McCord, Johnny Miller, Mike McTeigue, and Tinsley Penick. He received mention in Harvey Penick’s last book, The Game For a Lifetime.
